Lots of back and forth action going on in the ring, but at the 11:26 mark, Stephen Frost advanced by pin fall over Hot Sauce


Dan Benson

vs.


John Tyrus


Benson dominated most of the match, but in a couple of spots it was believed Tyrus could get the upset. When Tyrus attemped a neck breaker, Benson reversed it into a Shocker and got the pin at 13:10 to advance into round three.



Spectre

vs.



Tim Tuilo


Hot Sauce advances in the tournament when Tim gets counted out at 8:12



Missing Link

vs.



Mike Mayhem


Missing Link advances by forfit when Mike Mayhem never showed up.



Kamikaze Kid

vs.



Tully Blanchard


The experianced Tully Blanchard took the unexperianced Kid for granted through the entire match. The kid got the upset at 9:30 when Tully got wrapped up in a small package.

WCCW Texas Tag Title Match

Rock and Mr. Sinsation

vs.

"Outsider" Phillip Jones and Pedro the Lone Warrior




It started out with Sinsation and Phillip Jones fighting in the ring. With a clear advantage over the champs, Jones got a bit carried away and Sinsation went for a quick tag, and from there on the champs got the win when Rock pinned Pedro, and Sinsation kept Jones tied up in a sleeper at 15:45

WCCW Southwest Heavyweight Title Match

WCCW Southwest Heavyweight Champion
Matt Tulio

Versus

Justin Simcox




This one was an all out brawl. It was very clear that Simcox had a tast for the gold, but Tulio was always one step ahead of Simcox. At the 35:12 mark, Matt got in his famous Tulio Plex, and Matt retained the WCCW Southwest title.
