There are some good games this year, but I found it to be much more difficult to pick the "locks".  <p>

I like these:<p>

<u> New Mexico </u> -- New Mexico -3 over Nevada.  The Lobos have improved much over last season, while the Wolf Pack have gotten worse. <p> 

<u> Emerald </u> -- Oregon State -4½ over Maryland.  The Beavers enter the game with plenty of momentum, and the ACC is just not that strong. <p>

<u> Hawaii </u> -- East Carolina +10½ over Boise State.  EVERYONE is taking Boise State, a team that is not as good as last season.  Additionally, the WAC has dropped off.  Even though C-USA is not a good conference, the Pirates have gotten a little better all season. <p>

The rest of the games are just educated guesses.  I really had trouble with the Las Vegas Bowl matchup between BYU and UCLA.  While the Bruins are from a better conference, the Big West was much better this season, and the Cougars have put together two solid seasons in a row. <p>
