This year's Irish Open will be hosted in conjunction with the National Canoe Polo Committee and the Kilcock Traders Association. The Traders Association have organised a festival to run in conjunction with the Polo Competition, which will ensure craic and entertainment for competitors and spectators alike.

There will be a free campsite with showers and toilets in the grounds of the local school. There is also a four star campsite at: Camac Valley Campsite, Naas Rd, Co. Dublin, Ph 01-4640644. There are hotels and B&B's available locally i.e. Kilcock, Clane, Maynooth.
