Episode 17

“Where have you been all day” Raven asks Buff as he walks by, “its 12:30, thats not like you.”
“Just went for a walk” Buff says. As Raven and Buff talk Raven notices that Buff seems a bit out of it.
“Are you feeling all right man” Raven questions him, “you don’t seem yourself.”
“Just fine” Buff smiles a smile not unlike Edge’s, his eyes seems to have that same maniacal look to them.
“Hey Buff have you seen Jericho at all today” Hunter says while slapping Buff on the shoulder.
“Why would I” Buff says quickly while pulling away from Hunters touch.
“Just asking, we never saw him today he just disappeared.” Hunter defends himself.
“Yeah we asked the college guys next door but they haven’t seen him either” Raven tells Buff.
“Well I haven’t seen him at all either” Buff says while heading towards the stairs.
“That was weird” Hunter says to Raven. Raven seems deep in thought.

Raven’s Confessional:

This is really strange. Its not like Jericho to just up and vanish without and warning. And his disappearance isn’t the only thing thats strange. There are tell tale sign that the ministry is still lingering in the area. And for some reason we can’t get into the tool shed in the backyard.

“Man he seems really edgy lately” Kevin remarks about Buff.
“That and he can’t seem to stop spilling stuff on the carpet” Rocky says scrubbing up cake icing.
“He won’t go outside cause he says the sun is bothering him” Kevin adds.
“Maybe hes upset about Jericho disappearing” Hunter comments.
“No I don’t think so” Rocky says, “this started before he found out about Jericho. “Where is he now” Hunter asks.
“He and Raven went out to put up lost Jericho signs” Kevin tells him, “it was Buff’s idea to do it as if he was a lost dog.”
“How strange” Rocky says, “usually Buff is very sensible.”

As they speak Hunter hears a thumping noise coming from the backyard. When the group goes to investigate they find foot prints by the tool shed. There is no noise coming from the shed but they cannot get it to open.

“Those foot prints are pretty big” Kevin says, “about as big as mine, if not bigger.”
“What are you guys doing out here” Raven breaks the silence.
“These prints. Hey do either of you know why the shed won’t open” Kevin asks the two.
“NO” Buff says quickly and then rushed into the house.
“I can’t explain it” they all look over Raven’ shoulder and they see Christian.
“I found him wandering the streets” Raven tells them, “he doesn’t know where the rest of the ministry went, they kind of ditched him so hes staying here for a bit.”
As Raven and Christian go into the house the rest of the guys look as each other with a bit of fear. As they head towards the house they hear another thump from the shed. But when they turn to look there is no one there.

Kevin’s Confessional:

Well we solved one mystery. We finally figured out why Buff has been acting the way he has. The vitamins he takes appear to have been tampered with. We found puncture marks on the bottle, as if someone had bitten in to it. The doctors said to give him a few days to get it out of his system and then he’ll be fine. But that doesn’t explain the bite marks on his arms and legs. He doesn’t seem to remember any of it.

“Jerichos not the only one missing” Christian tells Raven, “we lost Edge around the same time. And when I went to look for him that when the rest of them ditched me here.”
“I don’t believe a word that boy says” Rocky whispers to Kevin.
“Whats say we all go out and do something to relax” Raven says putting his arm around Christian, he heard Rocky’s comment and continue to try and make Christian feel at home.
“That might be a good idea” Kevin says, “we all need to get our minds off of things.”
“Thanks” Christian says quietly to Raven.

As they leave the house and drive off, Christian sees a group of silhouettes heading towards the house. He begins to tell Raven but he is interrupted by Hunter telling a joke and then he forgets about it.

“So how did you get all those bruises on your back Christian” Rocky questions the boy.
“I was punished...” Christian begins when he is interrupted by an astonished Kevin.
“My God what happened” Kevin exclaims.
The house is in ruins, torn apart inside and out. The car door flings open and Christian is dragged out and he disappears. The guys run into the house. Each of them go into their rooms to see what they can salvage.
“Someones been jumping on my bed” Buff screams.
“Someones been jumping on my bed too, but they broke it” Kevin screams.
“Someones been jumping on my bed as well” Rocky screams, “and he still is.”
The others run into the room as the bed crashes. They see Viscera now sitting on the crushed bed. They turn to see the rest of the ministry at the bedroom door, the Taker is no where to be seen, neither is Edge.
“Where is Edge” Gangrel says as he grabs Rocky by the shirt, “we know you have him.”
“We do not” Kevin exclaims, “where is Jericho.”
“I don’t know” Gangrel says dropping Rocky.
They hear the foundation of the house begin to creak and they all bail out in time to see the roof of the house cave in.
“Well I guess thats it of us living here” Raven says sadly.
As he speaks the Taker appears in the background with Christian at his side. “What have you done” he says to the ministry. “If only Christian had gotten to me sooner. All this to find Edge.” The Taker says while walking into the backyard and everyone follows him. “You should have just asked me I could have told you where he was.” As he says this he thrusts his fist into the shed door and opens it. Both Edge and Jericho stumble out and begin to kiss the ground.

Hunter’s Confessional:

Well I guess this is my last one of these. This has been a major fiasco. The Taker was very willing to have the ministry go through the ruble to get what they could of our stuff. Many strange this have happened to us throughout our time here. Hogan left, Buff came. Oh well I guess its all put out memory now.

“I’m really sorry this had to happen” the Taker says to Raven.
“Well it all had to end somehow” Raven tells him.
“I’ll keep in touch” Buff says as he gets into his car.
“Yeah me too” Hunter says as he pulls out of the driveway.
The others watch as Buff and Hunter play bumper tag down the street.
“Think they’ll get arrested” Kevin says to Rocky
“No doubt” Rocky says while waving to the girl next door, “well I better go too”
As he takes off an egg hits his car from the other yard. The college guys are heard laughing along with Jericho.
“Well I better get going” Jericho says to Raven and Kevin, “I’ll see you guys at work.”
“Ewww he had to remind us didn’t he” Kevin says, “its been so long since we’ve worked”
“Yeah, but its like riding a bike” Raven says, “you never forget how to punch a guy in the face.”
“Hmmmm well we better get to the airport” Kevin says to Raven.
“Yeah I’ll be there in a second” Raven tells him.
Raven turns and looks at the remains of the house. He turns to the Taker and just smiles. The Taker pats him on the arm.
“You better get going” the Taker tells him.
“Yeah” Raven says, “I hope you have better luck with this than I did.”
