Episode 4

Mr. Binky vs. Socko
(round 1?)

Bret’s Confessional:

Well some good came out of me having Mick attack that mystery guy. When he hit his head on the tree it got his brain back into order. He hasn’t had a single mood swing all weekend. Lets just hope he stays this way, I don’t think I could take that again.

“You guys are such pigs” Disco rants as he picks up clothes that are spread around the house. It seems that he has become the designated laundry boy of the house. “Look at this Val’s shorts in the hall, Bret’s shirt on the counter, Mark seems to leave all kinds of leather items all over the place, Randy’s boots on the coffee table, and Mick leaves socks where ever he goes” he says entering the bathroom to get the hamper.
“Well at least you don’t have to clean the bathroom” Val grimaces while fishing a mixture of hair from the drain trap of the shower.
“The hardest thing is distinguishing what belongs to who” Disco says fishing through the basket.
“I don’t know, these red and black ones are definitely Mark’s” Val says continuing to clean the shower. Disco just laughs at Val’s lack of attention.
“Are we the only ones around here that do anything” Disco asks Val while sitting down to sort the clothes into ownership piles.
“Well Bret has been doing the yard work” Val says over his shoulder.
“Yeah but its only so he can watch that guy” Disco responds, “you know, Bret is turning into that guy, I wonder if its a vicious cycle.”

Randy’s Confessional:

Okay, I’ll admit it. Mick seems to be doing better. Except for one thing. All day hes been searching the house for something, for what I don’t know. When I asked him about it all he said was, my friend I’m looking for my friend. I’m starting to worry about him all over again.

“Mark did someone do the laundry” Mick asks noticing the basket of clean clothes at the foot of his bed.
“Yeah Disco did it all, and a good job of it too.” Mark answers as Mick begins to search his basket.
“Its not here” Mick growls as he storms out of the room. Mark watches him leave the room and begins to worry. Mick rushes down the hall to Disco’s room and throws open the door to see Disco arranging his collection of pants. “Where is he” Mick screams at Disco while grabbing him by the collar.
“Where is who” Disco gasps.
“You know who I’m talking about” Mick growls, “now what did you do with him.”
“Really I don’t know what you’re talking about” Disco whimpers. Mick lets him go and storms out of the room. Disco shakes his head and finishes his organizing and then goes to see what Val is up to.

The rest of the day goes smoothly, no more problems between Disco and Mick. Everyone has dinner and they all sit down together to watch tv. Bret and Randy fight over the remote until Mark just grabs it and changes it to a horror movie. Disco knows that he needs his stuffed walrus, Mr. Binky, if hes going to be able to watch the movie so he goes upstairs to get him. At a very tense part of the movie a scream runs through the house and scares everyone. Disco comes running down the stairs furious.

“All right where is Mr. Binky” Disco yells at Mick.
“You won’t tell me where mine is why should I tell you where yours is” Mick jumps up from the couch.
“Oh no here we go” Mark sighs as he gets up to separate the two.
“What are you looking for Mick” Val questions while Bret holds him back.
“My friend, Socko” Mick blurts out, “and he knows where he is.”
“Is that all” Disco huffs as he stomps into the laundry room to retrieve the partnerless sock left from the days wash, “heres your buddy all nice and clean, now give me back my walrus.”
“I can’t” Mick says grabbing Socko.
“Why not” Mark asks.
“Hes in the pool” Mick says quietly.
“MR. BINKY!!!!” Disco yells while running to the pool with Val right behind him as Randy and Mark go to prepare the dryer for its incoming load. Bret sits down next to Mick and begins to laugh.
“What” Mick asks him.
“I almost got him today” Bret giggles while getting back up, “I almost got him.”
