Here is the original end boom sheeting setup for the Ventures and early MacGregors.
This is the port block with cam cleat. If you look behind you will see the eye strap with the stopper knot. The sheet comes up thru the cam cleat thru the port pulley...
Up to the fore pulley on the boom block...
Then down thru the Starboard pulley and back up to the aft pulley on the boom block. Finally down to the port eye strap where you tie a stopper knot.
