FLYFISHING FOR CARP
There are two kinds of tactics when flyfishing for carp. One is to drift with a nymph or wetfly along the bottom. The other is to drift a dryfly on the surface of the water.

I preffer to drift a stonefly nymph along the edge of pools and eddies. But my favoret dryfly is a white mayfly imatation, I found it calls them in like a perch to a worm. Of coarse carp will hit other fly paterns as well. Just make sure you are useing one or a combination of these four colours, this will insure they will hit your fly.

I found that when carp are feeding on the surface they tend to preffer white and brown or a white/brown combination. in dirty water try bright green or yellow fly.

If you prefer to use none artificial bait for carp; try using bread or corn.
