NHL Goalie Masks

Here are some pictures of some of the Coolest masks in the NHL!

Goalie Masks have become a shear work of Art. Whenever we look at a Goaltender, the first think we look at is their masks. Well here are some examples about what setting a good first Impression as a Goaltender, is all About!

Felix Potvin, Former Toronto Maple Leaf Puck-Stopping Superstar, now plays for the Islanders in New York. One of my absolutely favorite goalies, his mask is my Favorite in the whole NHL! I think it's supposed to resemble a Cat in some way due to his well earned nickname, Felix the "Cat"! Expect Felix, along with his mask, to shine in New York!

John Vanbiesbrouck made his 14th pro campaign one to remember by leading the Panthers to the Stanely Cup finals in the franchise's first ever playoff appearance. "Beezer" now plays for Philidelphia were he backstops the Team to victories night after night. His mask is a simple design, yet I'd say it's probably one of the coolest!

Curtis Joseph, or "CuJo", was formerly a St.Louis Blues Superstar and is now accepting the same role with the Maple Leafs. He entered the spot light in Toronto at the begining of the 98-99 season, at many people call him "The Savior" Toronto had been needing. He has turned the franchise from a last place team, to a Cup contender! His Goalie Mask is now Blue, but contains the same fantastic design!

Trevor Kidd is an incredible Goaltender who now has taken the role between the pipes for the Carolina Hurricanes, backing up Artures Irbe. The Former Calgary Flames netminder, he has more than shown off his incredible talent to the fans of Carolina, and the world! His mask has a complicated design with the word "Kidder" at the chin. That's what makes it one of the most interesting in the world!

Thibault, now playing for the Chicago Blackhawks, is a young, phenominal puckstopper! The Montreal Canadiens will miss this young workhorse, after brining them a spectacular show, day in and day out! His mask is hardly one of the neatest looking; however it's interesting to like at due to that strange patterning all over it. If someone out there has any idea what on earth that is, please tell me! It'll make my life much easier!
