The night opened with cameras following the deranged Mankind throughout the Boiler Room of the arena, claiming hewanted the truth; surrounding Kane and the Undertaker. The superstar quickly made his way to the ring, where he called out World Wrestling Federation owner Mr. McMahon<--the only man whom he claimed ever gave him the truth! The chairman obliged, and stated Kane and the Undertaker were against Mankind. With that, Paul Bearer and his son entered the ring and scorned the owner for poisoning everyone's mind. In a shocking statement, Mr. McMahon accused Kane of actually being the Undertaker and challenged him to reveal himself. Just as Vince tried to rip off the mask, the lights went out--only to come back on moments later with the Phenom standing in the ring! With Kane gone, the Undertaker chased the owner from the arena and battered Mankind!
With Sable introducing her newfound friends the Oddities, the giant Silva, Kurrgan and Golga accompanied Princess Luna to the ring to take on Jacqueline. After Sable pulled Marvelous Marc Mero form the apron, Luna ducked out of her foe's way--sending Jacqueline into the referee. As Mero's love interest mounted the ropes, the femme fatale knocked Jacqueline off, allowing Luna to get the win with a splash off the top! After the match, Sable presented her friend with the Bikini Contest trophy!
Following the commercial break, the New Age Outlaws arrived to the building without the rest of DX!
In a second-round match of the Brawl For All, Droz faced Puerto Rican sensation Savio Vega. Drozdov claimed all three rounds over Savio with a series of takedowns and strong punches, thus giving Puke the win and an advance into the next round!
Following the Brawl For All bout, Triple H and Chyna made their way to the arena, without X-Pac! Michael Cole attempted to get a comment from the Ninth Wonder of the World, who told him to SUCK IT!
As LOD 2000 were making its way to the ring for the next match, Hawk took a spill on the slick steel entrance ramp. After a commercial break, several Federation officials told Hawk he was in no condition to compete, resulting in Southern Justice taking a two-on-one advantage against Animal. However, fresh off his Brawl For All bout, Droz made the save for his friend--only to be viciously mauled by Double J After knocking the former Denver Bronco cold with his guitar, Jarrett cut off a lock of his foe's hair.
After the melee in the ring, cameras caught X-Pac< entering the uilding--by himself! Just minutes later, the entire DX army made its way to the squared circle, and called one another jackoffs. Just as it looked as if the members of the sport's most controversial group were about to go their own ways, DX fooled everyone and attempted to moon the audience! However, before the boyz could pull down their pants, Chyna put her own assterisk on the evening -- signaling DX wasn't goin' ANYWHERE!
Escorted by his local Omahos, the Godfather made his way to the ring to take on Vader, but before the match got underway Bart Gunn confronted Jim Ross over his partiality towards fellow Oklahoman Dr. Death Steve Williams! After Gunn took a seat at ringside, the Godfather offered Vader the choice of either fighting him or taking home his finest ho's. In a shocking turn of events, the Colorado native accepted and took the ladies instead of facing the Nation member! But, before Vader could exit the arena, Gunn knocked the superstar cold with a left and sent the Godfather bailing with his escorts!
After Federation officials cleared the chaos in the ring, cameras spotted a limo with Val Venis and John Bobbit inside! Before an interview could take place, Dustin Runnels pleaded with a worldwide audience to seek out more inspirational programming--such as a wildlife special on the Discovery Channel!
Joined by John Bobbit and Yamaguchi-san's wife, Val Venis appeared before cameras a humbled man...half the man he used to be. However, Val was playing possum, as the superstar ripped off his pants to reveal the Big Valbowski was still locked, cocked and ready to unload! Then in a shocker, Val told Yamaguchi-san's wife to hit the bricks--dumping the woman who caused him so much trouble!
In the second Brawl For All bout of the evening,Marvelous Marc Mero faced tough Texan Bradshaw. Round one and two ended in a tie, with both opponents getting ten points. Tempers flared in the third round, as both superstars mauled each other to get the win. However, after a tie it was announced there would be a sudden-death round--which Bradshaw won with a takedown! Next week in the semi-finals, the big Texan takes on Droz and Bart Gunn faces the Godfather.
In a four-corners match for the Federation Tag Team Title, Stone Cold and the Undertaker defended the gold against Owen Hart and The Rock, the New Age Outlaws and Kane and Mankind! However, before the bout Ken Shamrock attacked Owen Hart and put the Calgary native in the Ankle Lock Submission while the Nation and DX brawled! With Owen badly injured, European Champion D'Lo Brown took his place. The Rattlesnake and Mankind started off the brawl, and the Deranged One narrowly escaped a Stunner! After annihilating D'Lo, Austin tagged in Kane who then allowed Billy Gunn and then Road Dog to battle the European Champion. In a memorable moment, the tag team titleholders displayed teamwork in mauling Gunn, but the Outlaw managed to tag in Austin to face the Undertaker! Instead of teeing off on each other, the champions worked over Road Dog, leading The Rock< to hit the DX member with the People's Elbow. During an all-out melee involving every team, Kane tagged in and chokeslammed his brother for the win, resulting in NEW WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS--KANE AND MANKIND! 11/08/98
