![]() | Principal Earle Famme address' the crowd. Some great presenters, including Former Principal and organizer of the 150th Committee, Charles Wilson, and former Alumni and teacher Syl Eccles. Syl is now the school Historian and is the reason so much of GCI's history is so well documented and preserved for all to share. It was fun listening to Syl talk about the old days when the girls went in the left doors the staff through the center doors and boys entered only via the right doors. Sounds like you would get in big trouble if you were caught at the wrong entrance! |
The Balloons are launched! The crowd was facinated with watching the balloons clear some large trees and dissapear over the train tracks. Principal Earle had to ask everyone to turn around and pay attention to the presentation. Everyone laughed at being told to turn around just like when we were kids. Fortunately there were too many of us to serve any kind of detention. | ![]() |

Tassie Hall renovations have been slow but sure. getting the uncontrollable urge to sit down in one of those old chairs was common for many of the alumni that entered into the hall. Sitting down in the old wood chairs brang back many memories of earlier days. Plays, assemblies, and even a movie now and then were always a treat! | ![]() |
