Curia
The curia was the meeting place of the senators of Rome. It is said that up to 200 senators could meet in the curia, although there were never 200 senators. The senators were seated in long rows inside. A speaking platform is present in front of all the the senators. The building has burnt down four times in its existence, first in 80 BC. Tullus Hostilius had founded this first curia. After this burning, Caesar rebuilt the curia. The curia now stands as it was rebuilt in 300 AD, after being burnt down in 283 AD.
