Darrell Armstrong takes over the point guard spot after his
impressive performance in last season's playoffs.To let Penny move to the shooting gaurd Armstrong hounds the
basketball on defense Offensively, Armstrong is still developing.
He is very quick and is troublesome in transition, but he still needs to
upgrade his shooting and ballhandling skills. Armstrong got significant playing time as a backup guard for the
Magic in 1996-97 and really really showed his skills in the playoffs where he helped the team battle
back from a 2-0 deficit and extend the Heat to a decisive fifth
game. Armstrong played in 67 games.
