The team roster limit is 50 players. The trading deadline is August 31. Trades completed after this will be credited to the next seasons roster since this is a carryover league. Since owners in our league have more than one team, there is no trading between one owners two teams. A yearly draft is held at the owners convenience. Any player not on any owners roster is available. The draft order has the previous seasons last place finisher receive the first pick, first place finisher the last pick, etc. The amount of rounds will be decided by the owners before the draft. Since there is no adding of players during the season (except through trades), cover for injuries through the draft. A final roster of 25 players from each of your teams is taken at seasons end and then the two of your teams total points are added together (50 players total) to determine your final point total and standing. Each roster must breakdown as follows: 6-8 starting pitchers, 2-4 relief pitchers for a total of 10 pitchers, 3-7 outfielders, 1-3 infielders at each position for a total of 15 hitters. To qualify at a position the player should have played 20 or more games there. There is a limit on the final roster of 1 player who qualifies only as DH. The scoring system is as follows: Hitters/BA(.300=300 pts.) + R, H, 2B, 3B, SB, W(1=1 pt.) + HR(1=2 pts.). To qualify for BA points a hitter must have 502 plate appearances or a penalty of 25% of the BA point is deducted. PITCHERS: W(X 20) + SV(X10) + K(X 1) + CG(X 10) + SHO(X 20) + ERA(add 1 pt. for each pt. from 6.00 ERA, ie: 6.00=0 pts., 5.99=1 pt. 3.00=300 pts., etc.) To qualify for ERA points a starter must pitch in 162 innings or more or a penalty of 25% of the ERA points will be deducted. RELIEVERS: SV(X 10) + W(X 10) + K(X 1) + ERA(add 1 pt. for each pt. better than 6.00 ERA, 6.00=0 pts., 5.99=1 pt., 3.00=300 pts., etc.). To qualify for ERA points a reliever must appear in 50 or more innings or a penalty of 25% will be taken from ERA points).
