Since it's an off day with nothing really to report, now is as good a time
as any to mention that Corey Hirsch (goaltending prospect, Canadian Olympic
silver medalist, and postage stamp model) has declined an assignment to
Binghamton and is more or less holding out at his agent's house in Seattle.
The young redhead wants either a trade or Glenn Healy's job. Neither is
forthcoming. Hirsch will report to Bingo on March 22 -- but he won't be
happy about it. In fact, he won't be happy about much for the remainder of
his Rangers career.
