    Claimining New Players

    Waiver System

  • For the first two weeks of the season, the waiver wire claim order is determined by reverse order of draft picks. In other words, the owner who chose in the 12 spot gets first priority.
  • After the first two weeks of the season, the waiver wire claim order is determined by the league's "worst" team having top priority and the "best" team having least priority. This is determined by (1)wins and (2)total points scored.
  • After making a selection, a team moves to the end of the claim order.
  • The claim order is reset every three weeks to reflect new "worst" and "best" teams.

    Keepers
    Number of Keepers

  • For each player an owner keeps, he gives up a draft pick (starting with round one).
  • The amount of players who an owner keeps in determined by a "salary cap" as computed by the player's value as defined above. The owner can keep as many players as he wants as long as the value does not exceed the salary cap.

    Keepers Salary Cap

  • The salary cap for the league's second year will be set at $33 million.
  • Future salary caps can be adjusted by 2/3 league vote. Salary caps can be increase or decreased by up to $6 million per year only.
  • For each year that an owner keeps a player, he must add $1 million to that player's value.

    Rule Changes

  • Because this is a keeper league, major rule changes should generally be made at least one calendar year in advance and require a majority decision of those owners voting.
  • Major rule changes which are proposed less than one calendar year in advance require a 2/3 decision of those owners voting.
  • Major rule changes which are proposed after the season starts require a unanimous vote of those owners voting.

  • Minor rule changes proposed after the season starts require a 2/3 decision of those owners voting.
  • Definition of whether a rule change is major or minor is the sole decision of the league commissioner.
