  • Picks will be made for each game of each week straight up. (not against the spread).
  • Points will be awarded as follows: If you pick the favorite to win and they do indeed win, you get 1 point. If you pick the underdog to win and they do indeed pull off the upset, you get two points).
  • Favorite/Underdog will be determined by using the point spread on USAToday and will be posted each Wednesday on the Survivor website. After being posted, this status will not change even if the line does.
  • If a game is "even" or "pick em" or "no line", etc., the home team will be declared the favorite.
  • Week 1 of the NFL season will be used to build up cumulative points for tie-breakers.
  • No one will be kicked out of the game based on week 1 results.

  • Starting with week 2, the person with the fewest points for that week (not cumulative, you must pick well each week), will be booted into the losers bracket.
  • Each contestant is given one "grace" week. If he/she turns does not turn picks in ONCE, then they are given all favorites. He/she CAN NOT win immunity or any tiebreakers, however. The second time that picks are not turned in, he/she gets a zero for the week .
  • If we have more contestants than weeks, two contestants may be kicked into the losers bracket after some weeks. If this is the case, these weeks will be selected and competitors notifed before the season starts.
  • The other contestants continue picking for the championship the next week.

  • For an added twist, the person who gets the most points right for the week will have immunity for the next week. They still need to make picks to build cumulative points, but they can not be kicked into the losers bracket. The immunity lasts only for one week. Only one person can get immunity, so tie breakers will be used if necessary.
  • One can gain immunity based on picks in week 1 through week 14. There will be no immunity during weeks 16 and 17 (semi finals and finals) of the season.

  • For immunity and for being kicked out of the winner's bracket, if two or more contestants tie for the week, the tiebreakers are as follows:
  • (1)Cumulative points for entire season to date
  • (2)Most correctly picked games for the week
  • (3)Correctly picking winner of Monday nights game
  • (4)Closest to overall combined score of Monday night opponents.
  • (5)Entry which was received first that week

  • For the ten dollar weekly prize, if two or more contestants tie for the week, the tiebreakers are as follows:
  • (1)Most correctly picked games for the week
  • (2)Correctly picking winner of Monday nights game
  • (3)Closest to overall combined score of Monday night opponents.
  • (4)Entry which was received first that week

  • The Losers Bracket is a contest for the best overall, cumulative point total for the year. Everyone who gets kicked out of the main bracket, can continue picking for cumulative reward money/glory.
  • If two or more contestants at the end of the year for the losers bracket, the tiebreaker is whoever lasted the longest in the suvivor bracket.

  • All picks must be received by me VIA EMAIL by Sunday at 1:00 pm. If there is an earlier game(s) that week, the pick(s) for the earlier game(s) must be turned in by the time that game begins. Picks for the other game may still be turned in on Sunday at 1:00
  • If email is not possible, please let me know and we can look for other arrangements. Note that I must have RECEIVED the email by game time.
