11.12.00 I'm a *little* late gettin' this in but hey, late is better than never, right? Either way, here it goes. Unfortunately, the Yanks think themselves to be the center of the baseball universe. I was hopin' for the Braves to play the ChiSox.... didn't happen. Then it was Cards-Mariners.... didn't happen. Mets over Yanks.... didn't happen. I apologize for the jinx!!!! There's just not much to say here 'cause it's all history. Braves lost to the Cards in the National League Division Series. The Cards then lost to the Mets in the NLCS and the Mets in turn fell to the Yankees in the Fall Classic.
