For winning 2 silver medals in the European Junior Olympic Games in Spain. The medals were won in the 200m freestyle individual event, and the in the British medley relay team.

April - Claire Duffy

For outstanding swims at the British Long Course Championship, resulting in a British ranking of 4 for the 50m fly.

March - David Davies and Claire Duffy

David for breaking no less than 6 Welsh Junior Records!

Claire for her 65 pooint, 100m butterfly at Pontypool.

2000

September - Mark Stevens and Karla Hancock

Mark for an outstanding swim at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, Karla for outstanding swims at the British National Championships.

For a phenomenal 10 Welsh titles at the Welsh Age Groups
