Kozlov signs deal with Red Wings

DETROIT (AP) - Left wing Vyacheslav Kozlov signed a two-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings. "We're glad to have Slava signed and in camp," general manager Ken Holland said Sunday. "I know that he was disappointed in last season, but he worked very hard this summer on his conditioning, and we fully expect him to rebound this year." Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Kozlov, 28, was a restricted free agent. He had 18 goals and 18 assists for the Red Wings last season, his ninth in the NHL. Kozlov was Detroit's second choice in the 1990 NHL entry draft, picked 54th overall in the third round. The 5-foot-10, 195-pound forward has 182 goals and 195 assists in 535 career NHL games
