On Saturday, May 06, 2006 the historic match came to an end. The Rest of the World agreed to Hamarat’s proposal for a draw in both the games. In the first game most of us felt that all was lost for the world team after Tunc’s 21.c4! In Game 2, the Champion became a pawn ahead on move 23, but the opposite coloured bishops ensured that the World was never likely to lose.
