In section 7, we had seen Nowotny theme problems. In many of the problems the key introduced two threats, which were separated in the variations. There the main theme was mutual interference and threat separation was incidental; in this section we will see problems in which threat separation is the central idea or the theme. The theme is also known as Fleck theme named after Ferenc Fleck, a distinguished Hungarian composer.
