THE SEVENTH AICCF CHAMPIONSHIP, 1507 (2006-2009)

The announcement regarding this tournament was made in the February 2006 Bulletin. As we have not yet received the full quota of entries, we are extending the date for entries up to 31st August 2006.

We are making matters simpler for members who wish to apply but are not sure whether they will be selected or not.

Those members whose rating is above 1171 as announced in Feb 2006 Bulletin must send entry fee of Rs 100/- with request for allotment.

Those members whose rating is below 1171 may just send a post card to Shri E.G.Meherhomji (address given on inside front cover) stating that you are interested to play in the Championship Tournament 1507. Do not send any money. If you are selected then we will request you to send the fees of Rs 100/-.

THE SECOND AICCF SPECIAL TOURNAMENT (2006-2009) WITH MULTIPLE SECTIONS
IN MEMORY OF H.J.SAMTANI

Each section will comprise 15 participants. And there will be 5 generous prizes in each section! Depending on the response, there will be up to 10 separate sections. That is a total of up to Rs. 20,000/- in prize money!

First Prize: Rs. 1000/-

Fourth Prize: Rs. 150/-

Second Prize: Rs. 500/-

Fifth Prize: Rs. 100/-

Third Prize: Rs. 250/-


The Sections will be drawn up taking into consideration the preference of the players to play by email or post.

To participate in these tournaments, just drop a post card to Shri Meherhomji giving your name and address. New members, who are yet to play in their first tournament are also welcome. The only restriction is that participants in the AICCF Championship 1507 will not be eligible to play.
