This year ICCF congress will be held in the city of Villa La Angostura, Neuquén Province, from 29th October until 5th November 2005. This will be the second ICCF Congress organized in Latin America, both in Argentina, and this time supported by the CADAP President (ICCF Zone 2 Director) Mr. Guillermo Toro Solís de Ovando (Chile).

Argentina is a very special country and very similar to some European countries because their origin/descent is traced to Spain, Italy, UK, France and Germany, etc. and of course there are a lot of interesting places to visit. This city, Villa La Angostura, is located near the border of Chile as shown in the map alongside. It got its name from the Isthmus or Angostura (narrowing) of the Quetrihué Peninsula, near the slopes of mounts Bayo (1,782 m), Incayal (1,849 m) and Belvedere (1,992 m). It is a land of deep, cold lakes, soaring mountains, vast forests and sprawling estancias. One can enjoy skies and lakes amalgamating into different violet and indigo tones with a spectrum of green, orange and ochre to make an incredible image.

This place is specially suited to the practicing of nautical activities, especially fishing, all kinds of navigation (windsurf, sailboats and cruise ships) and, obviously, trekking, horse riding, mountain biking, hang-gliding and delta wing gliding.
