AICCF Ratings: New members start with an initial rating of 800. Thereafter the rating is incremented/decremented according to results. Both postal and email results count for AICCF Ratings. The rating calculation method is provided in the Tournament Rules sent to new members. In case of any doubt or discrepancy in your rating, please get in touch first with the Tournament Director (to correct wrong or missing results) and thereafter contact Dr. A.Chatterjee. |
AICCF Championships: The AICCF championships (15-player) are conducted from time to time. Qualified players are the current champion, players at the top of the Rating Chart and 2 donors. Presently the 6th AICCF Championship (1506) is in progress and starting the 7th Championship is being planned. S.K.Somani of Indore is the current AICCF Champion. |

ICCF ratings are entirely separate from AICCF ratings and are computed in a different way. Note however that games played in the AICCF Championships are also ICCF rated. An ICCF rating is given to participants only after he completes 12 games. This rating is considered provisional. A regular or fixed rating is given only after the completion of 30 games.
