Starting with a home game against New Bedford, on Saturday afternoon, the Bethlehem F. C. has drawn one of the most attractive schedules of games for the next week or two possible. In the next three games, Bethlehem opposes clubs that are standing higher than the locals in the league table and open with New Bedford, second in the percentage column, this weekend.
One of the big attractions will see the league champions, Fall River, in action against the Steel Workers here on Christmas Day afternoon. It will be the first visit of the Fall River clan to Bethlehem this season. On the Saturday following the Bethlehem team will oppose the Shawsheen club, which likewise makes it first visit to the Steel City. Shawsheen is one of the sensations of the circuit. A new club this season, the winners of the National Cup competition last year, are right at the top of the topnotch teams on the loop.
Another schedule was arranged at a meeting of the league, held in New York City, Saturday evening. Of the next seven games, the Steel Workers will play five at home, and are presented with the opportunity of increasing their standing in the league table. In addition to the schedule of the American Soccer League games, the draw for the fourth round in the U. S. F. A. cup competition will see the American Soccer League teams in action.

In the draw for the cup competition the Steel Workers received one of the best breaks that has been their lot this season. The Bethlehem's will oppose Newark in a game to be played at the latter place. The play in the cup tie will be on January 16 and 17.
