By virtue of cup games played while other teams were engaged in collecting points in the league race, Bethlehem two weeks ago tied in the number of points for first place in the standing, has again dropped to third place with New York F. C. and Fall River paving the way. However, the margin in the lead established by the leading clubs is so small that the outcome of Saturday's game possibly will reverse the positions.
The Newark Club makes its first visit to Bethlehem on Saturday afternoon and with its many celebrities promises to be one of the best attractions of the season. The goal keeper is "Jim" Douglas, a star in basketball and baseball, and despite the fact that this is only his second season in soccer he is regarded as one of the best in the country.
