The Hubmen invade Bethlehem with their celebrated forward line which comprise the former popular Bethlehem favorite, "Whitey" Fleming, at outside left; Blair, a center forward who with three goals to his credit eliminated Fall Rive in the cup competition and is pressing Archie Stark, Bethlehem's center forward for the individual scoring honors in the league. McNabb a speedy and sure shooting outside right who with Fleming form a most excellent pair of wingmen. The inside forwards, J. Ballantyne and Galloway are a pair of seasoned veterans and fit in nicely in distributing the play to their co-workers on the front line.
Against this array of players Bethlehem will field a club which crashed through for the National title and which in a series enjoyed an even break with the Hubmen. Three games were played, each winning one and the third resulting in a draw. Of this number of games, two were played at Boston and but one on home loam.
