More than 20,000 See Hakoah- All-Stars Game in New York Sunday.
JEWISH TEAM WINS 4 TO 0

New York, April 26. (AP) – Soccer football as played by a championship team of Europe has proved attractive to American fans. Before the largest crowd ever to witness a contest in this country the Hakoah team, an all-Jewish team from Vienna, yesterday defeated a picked squad at the Polo Grounds here 4 to 0.

Between 20,000 and 25,000 saw the game, rain undoubtedly keeping many away and after an entirely defensive first half Hakoah opened a strong attack which demonstrated the possibilities of the sport.

Few American teams have trained as these players from Austria who worked together as a machine although each appeared brilliant.

Before the game players of both teams marched around the field with colors flying and band playing. It was the first time that the Jewish blue and white had flown for a sporting event at the great baseball park.
