Starring on the forward line will be Davy Croft, former Irish Internationalist and a star at Fall River last year and early this season. Critics believe that if Croft had remained with the Marksmen their standing in the league and chances in other soccer affairs would have been more pronounced.
However, Croft is not the only Fall River star who is affiliated with Coats. Another player known throughout the circuit and one of the greatest defensive men in the sport is "Bill" Tate, a big strapping halfback. The inclusion of Tate, together with the other halfbacks has given Coats the reputation of being the strongest defensive team in the league.
In the selection of the Bethlehem team for Saturday's game there is still doubt in one or two positions. It is practically certain that George Forrest, who in his last two starts played a bang up game and located the net for quite a few goals, will be at inside left instead of the veteran John Granger. The latter is still nursing injuries received against the Phillies last Saturday. There is also some doubt in starting McDonald, one of the brilliant trio of Bethlehem halfbacks. A leg injury is causing the blond thatched halfback a little trouble and it is likely that Reid, former Phillies star, will be in his position.
