STEELMEN UNLUCKY IN CUP GAME DRAWING
Bethlehem Champions Seem to Land Majority of Tilts Away From Home

The fate of the draw in cup games has been anything but kind to the Bethlehem Steel F. C., for in the first two rounds of the U. S. F. A. cup tie, the defending champions in this competition will be pitted against opponents away from home. The schedule for the next four weeks, excepting for the game to be played against J & P Coats here on Saturday afternoon, will be see champions in action on rival fields.

Not Lucky On "Draw"
It is odd how Bethlehem is on the short end in the draw and has been in seasons past. Last year the champions were forced to play all but one round of the National and American cup competition away from home. In the latter, however, fans had an opportunity of seeing one of the games when Bethlehem reached the semi-final with the New York Giants, and, according to the plan, a home and home game is arranged for this and the final round.

Bethlehem goes to bat in a league game here on Saturday with Coats and [ . . . ] the following Saturday with New Bedford away; Providence at the latter place on March 20 and then the Steelmen take up their cup activities. The first round game will be against the Phillies on March 26 and the winner of this round will meet the winner of the Trenton F. C. and Viking A. C., of New York, on one of the two latter fields, in the second round. One of these games would have been welcomed at home.

Schedule of Games
The Steelmen will be decidedly active in the next three or four weeks, as indicated by the following schedule:

March 13 (league) -- J & P Coats, at home.
March 19 (league) -- New Bedford, at New Bedford
March 20 (league) -- Providence, at Providence
March 26 (first round, National cup) -- Philadelphia, at Philadelphia
April 3 (second round, National cup) -- Away at Trenton or New York
