Summer Camp

9 AM to Noon or 5 PM to 8 PM
Where: McKinney/Yoest Soccer
Complex
Each Player Receives:

Fifteen hours of instruction from coaches
with professional playing and/or coaching experience

small instructional groups, generally 14:1
student:teacher ratio

Nippers: 6 - 8 year olds

Emphasis in the techniques: Passing, control,
dribbling, heading and shooting

An environment that allows the young player
to develop skills in small-sided games
Intermediate:
9 -12 year olds

Introduction to the principles of team play:
attacking, defending, support and creating space

Small-sided games: 2v2, 4v4, 6v6, which increases
contact with the ball, for the development of skills
Advanced: 12 - 18 year olds

Intense practices which develop individual
and team play

Technical instruction in individual skills,
receiving and passing the ball under pressure, ball manipulation to defeat
an opponent and off-side rule

Learn the concept of teamwork and team responsibilities
Goalkeepers: 10 years old and older
