Royal Irish Constabulary Carbine

Royal Irish Constabulary Carbine A special conversion done for the RIC made from existing carbines. A few more than 10000 were converted.They feature a 6 round box magazine and were fitted for the P1888 bayonet. These conversions were recorded as done by the Enfield Factory but Skennerton speculates that many were done at BSA.
