The LSA Factory was located at Victoria Mills, near London from 1866-1921. Nearly a half million MkIII/III* rifles were produced at LSA. According to Stratton only about 50,000 MkIII* rifles were produced here. Although, nearly a half million rifles were produced, LSA manufactured the lowest number of complete MkIII rifles making them scarcer than other factories. Only SSA and NRF produced less rifles but no completed guns were assembled at these two plants, them merely producing parts and the assembly being done elsewhere.
