NWO, 2000
For anybody who was ready to enter the NWO, the transcript of one of Hall of Famer Shane Douglas' promos was required reading to know what to live up to. Of course, transcripts of Big Stick's work should have been displayed to display exactly what NOT to do. While Jayzom Williams/Golden Boy is regarded as the worst in NWO history, Big Stick knew so little about e-fedding that he could not write a comprehensible promo.
By butchering the English language, breaking in and out of kayfabe, and having the shortest promos in the fed, among other things, Big Stick has earned eternal space in the bowels of the Hall of Shame.
Just remember, e-fedders... don't let THIS happen to YOU.

Naturally, Big Stick's employment was CEO Shawn Bishop's bright idea. Brought into the company alongside Blade, Big Stick went forth to stink up the NWO.
|
Big Stick's first match was made against another one of Bishop's newcomers, the Corporate Avenger. (Fortunately that one left before he could make Shawn Bishop look worse than he already does.) In the backstage, this wrestler was legitimately sick with the flu.

Big Stick took advantage (if you can call it that) of the situation by mocking the wrestler's illness.
This is something better seen than believed. Click here to see the wonder that is Big Stick.
|
Needless to say, Big Stick lost the match.
Even Bishop couldn't even book a win for Big Stick. That says a LOT.

While Big Stick's antics were good for comedic relief, he soon began causing some serious trouble.
|
Under CEO Chris Wilson's control, Big Stick made the error of threatening someone under the guise of the man in charge.
Big Stick was booked to be fired in a most humiliating way. On October 16th, 2000, the night of Monday Night Carnage, he had a match against Blade. Click here to see the worst night in Big Stick's life.

Though Big Stick was gone after only two matches, his legend still lives on in any NWO wrestler that, well...
SUCKED.
|
Amazingly, Tim Arquette seemed to have picked up the English dictionary, and began writing coherantly for a while as Kurt Angle, and even won the United States Championship.
As it turns out, he had stolen the Kurt Angle roleplays from someone else. Once this was proven, he was ousted for good.
While all of this may be overlooked, (just look at The Golden Boy) ruining the heat that could have been gained by a name as cool as "Big Stick" is perhaps the highest crime of all.
I want more crap!
