Titletown Roofmasters
PAN-AMERICAN CONFERENCE

Team History:
Owner Notes:
The Titletown Roofmasters have enjoyed a good deal of success in the franchise’s history.  The Roofers have qualified for the playoffs quite regularly and have won several Pan-American Conference championships.  They have also posted the best regular season record in league history.  The yearly history of the team is documented here.

Team Nostalgia:
The first pick in Titletown Roofmaster franchise history was Terrell Davis, RB.

Hometown Notes:
Titletown is a mythical place (until they actually win a championship) filled with great sights, good people, and plenty of cheese.  Though some other rag-tag football outfit is rumored to play in the area, the Roofers are the main show in town.  For all the details about the Titletown area, have a look here.

Franchise Location:

Coach Danube is old-school, and likes to run his operation on what he calls “Danube Time.”  While the NFL Packers had “Lombardi Time,” Danube has his own special twist.  During “Danube Time” players are forced to sit around at practice and listen to the tale of a skinny kid in junior high who, for one shining moment, became a hero.  The kid was playing tight end, caught a pass over the middle, broke one tackle, and was off to the endzone.  In 1999, the kid ran it in from 75 yards out.  In 2001, it had become 79 yards.  In 2003, it was 86 yards.  “Danube Time” generally occurs once per day, though two-a-days are not unusual during training camp.  And players know better than to even ask about consecutive field goals or field goal percentage.  The legend continues to grow. . .
