The Wedding Dinner
Well, I actually remembered to bring my digital camera to the dinner, so these are the first pictures available.

We went to dinner at William B's which is the steakhouse in the Stardust hotel.  This is a beautiful restaurant just off of the main casino.  For most of the evening we were in a room all to ourselves which was wonderfully decorated.  As you can see, the table was huge.  I have never had so much elbow space before.  The service was excellent, the food was wonderful, and we had a wonderful time.  The one possible downside of the evening:  Theresa's daughter Claire may have developed a taste for filet mignon.

from L to R: Lily (my mother's friend), Jerry and Edith Wittstock (parents of the bride) Bill Dahl (best man), Sharon Dahl (co-maid of honour), Claire Sass (daughter of bride and co-maid of honour), Theresa (bride), Jamie (groom), Helene Fahie (mother of the groom)

Bride and Groom:  This picture was taken because of the cool painting behind us showing a country wedding.

Our incredible waiter with the wedding cake.  (Also the photographer of the group pictures on this page)

The cake again... It may not be big, but this was one tasty cake!  With such a small group, a lot of it went to waste anyway.

Another group shot, this time after dinner.  Plus, this time my mother has decided not to lean forward and block me out of the picture!

Cutting the cake:  In case people are wondering:  Yes, I am wearing a tux, but it's not in the classic style.  No tie, and the jacket is cut differently.  Hopefully in later pictures it will be more clear.

And of course... feeding each other cake.  People we somewhat disappointed that we didn't smear each other.
Photo credits for the last two pictures go to Theresa's 9-year-old daughter Claire... GREAT JOB!
