My oh my... another great birthday! Although, perhaps not quite as eventful as last year, but just as much fun!

Once again, I played a little hooky from work, and yes, I did play another round of golf. However, do to some chores that I had to do in the morning, I couldn't go anywhere as extravagant as last year. So, instead, I went over to the par 3/executive course nearby, and played 18 holes. In fact... I had been given gift certificate for this course from Theresa, Claire and Léanne for Father's day, so I didn't even have to pay anything! As for the quality of golf... well... let's just say I hadn't played much this year before that round.

This year however, it turned out that the main event happened later that night. Léanne's grandparents had generously taken her so that Theresa and I could have a little time together. Theresa, knowing that I love going out to movies, suggested that go see one, but somehow I wasn't in the mood for that. I was in the mood to go out, to hear some live music, and get some good food. We ended up going to a very nice restaurant downtown where we sat in the bar, ate antipasto and listened to some fun music. We stayed there quite a long time.. and walked out into the late night. We had noticed earlier in the night that there were a number of statues of Lucy, from Peanuts, on the street. So... we drove quite a distance to find a store that was still open to find a disposable camera, and then we came back downtown and posed with the statues.
