| LEXINGTON - The United Coed summer soccer team fell to
defending champ Kickdogs in the finals of the Greater Boston Soccer
League. United
grabbed an early 2-0 first half lead on goals by Chris LeFave.
Kickdogs battled back and tied the game at halftime, 2-2. AJ
Reitz added a goal in the second half for United, but Kickdogs would not
fold, tying the game and sending it into overtime.
The final score was 3-3, but Kickdogs finished with a 5-4 advantage in
penalty kicks to capture the league championship.
United (8-1-0) won their first ever outright Greater Boston Soccer
League regular season title with a perfect 7-0-0 record.
