SPECIAL THURSDAY NIGHT DEMOLITION
FROM THE SHAWPLEX ON 10/9!!!!!!
Stylin' Steve Chen: Hey!! This is the stylin' one himself and we're back at ya with a special Thursday Demolition. Looks to be a great card with some more tourney action, a falls count anywhere match, and a barbed wire match. To begin the night, we go down to the big chesse himself for a special tribute to the Flyin' Loose Cannon Brian Pillman.
PILLMAN TRIBUTE
-------------------------------
The Prez enters with a somber look on his face and gets in the ring. He begins to speak into a mic, "Tonight, we remember our fallen friend Brian Pillman. From throat cancer, to a violent car crash, to his untimely death, Pillman led a troubled life. He got through the setbacks that life threw at him with sheer will and determination. Pillman became one of the stars in this sport due to his own hard work ethic and his own diligent efforts. Pillman took on the name Flyin' Brian in WCW from his type of wrestling. He teamed with the "Stunning" Steve Austin as the Hollywood Blondes to become the champs. In a civilized departure in which Bischoff left the door open for a return someday, Pillman made his way into the WWF. Then, a horrible, near fatal car crash nearly ended his career in the ring. Pillman suffered injuries to his ankle, but fought through the odds and the pain to get back into the ring. Eric Bischoff once stated that if there was one thing he would change about his tenure in WCW thus far, it would have been to try harder to keep Pillman in WCW. We understand why. He will be sorely missed and always respected as a great man and wrestler. The SEWF extends it's condolences to the Pillman family. We have some prerecorded comments from various wrestlers in memory of Pillman."
CALADAN: Brian Pillman was a great young wrestler with a real future and I'm really going to miss him. I still remember his match at SuperBrawl II with Jushin Liger and it remains one of the best matches I have ever seen in my life. WCW has a Cruiserweight title today mostly because Brian Pillman was able to legitimize the division so well. His tag team with Steve Austin, the Hollywood Blondes, remains my favorite team and I had long hoped they'd get back together. Brian - you were an inpiration to us all and we're all going to miss you.
KEZ: Brian Pillman, truly one of the greatest cruiserweights ever. The Loose Cannon. Who cares if you were psychotic or crazy, you made it fun. You inspired me to be a pro wrestler. The Hollywood Blondes were one of the best tag-teams ever. Brian Pillman, Kez honors you.
Stylin' Steve Chen: That was heavy folks, but as they say, the show must go on. Brian would have wanted that. Coming up is bracket 2 of the heavyweight tourney. Let's get down to the ring.
BRACKET 2 OF THE HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNEY
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Anson Dred (w/ Air Jackson) vs. Extremely Hardcore
Anson Dred comes out first, with Air Jackson at his side, to a mixture of cheers and boos. When Dred gets into the ring, Jackson offers some coaching wisdom. "He's too small to beat you, just crush the little piece of garbage." Next, Extermely Hardcore is introduced, and before the crowd has time to do anything, EH sprints down the aisle at full speed, climbs up to the top rope, and as Dred turns, EH dropkicks him from the top rope and goes for a quick cover. 1.. 2.., and Dred kicks out. The big man gets up, and sizes up EH. The two circle each other, and lock up. Dred begins with a blow to the stomach. While EH is doubled over, Dred elbows him in the back of the head. Dred begins stomping on EH, and the referee moves in to break it up, but not before EH takes some hard shots to the chest. Dred picks up EH, and sends him into a turnbuckle. Dred then follows up with all of his 300 lbs in an avalanche. EH crumples to the mat, and Dred goes for the cover. 1.. 2.., and EH gets his foot onto the ropes, breaking the pin. Dred, angry at this refusal to lose, picks EH up, and lifts him over his head like a rag doll. He gorilla presses him 5 times, before throwing him out of the ring and onto the concrete. EH lies stunned on the ground, while Dred climbs outside the ropes, while remaining on the ring. Dred then goes for a big splash, but at the last second EH rolls out of the way, and Dred crahses onto the concrete. Both men are hurting now, and the ref starts the 10-count. However, Air Jackson gets up onto the ring apron and starts complaining, thereby breaking the count. Dred is the first to rise, and he rolls EH into the ring, and then climbs in himself. He then whips EH into the ropes, and goes for the clothesline. However, EH ducks, hits the opposite ropes, and comes back with a flying elbow that leaves Dred dazed. EH gets up, and feels pumped. He goes to pick Dred up for the bodyslam, but he can't quite do it, and the big man falls on top of him. The ref counts 1.. 2.., and EH barely lifts his shoulder up. Frustrated now, Dred picks EH up, and whips him into the ropes again. He catches EH in a clothesline, but holds on, and applies the sleeperhold. EH appears to be fading as his air supply is cut off by Dred's huge arms. The ref lifts his arm, for is it hits the mat when dropped, then the match is over. The ref drops EH's arm, and just before hitting the mat, EH pulls it up. The crowd, amazed by this display of courage begins to rally behind EH. They chant "Hardcore, Hardcore, Hardcore". EH appears to be gaining energy as he struggles to his feet. The hold no longer appears to have an effect on him, and he starts giving Dred some swinging elbows. After 5 elbows to the midsection, Dred lets go of the hold and staggers to the center of the ring. EH bounces of the ropes, and gives Dred a flying shoulderblock. The big man is staggered, but he doesn't go down. EH bounces off the opposite ropes, and tries another flying shoulderblock. Again, the big man is shaken, but he stays on his feet. EH, now exteremely pumped up, bounces off the ropes, and gives the big man a third flying shoulderblock. Air Jackson is frantic, as Dred is visibly hurt, but manages to stay on his feet. EH, with the adrenaline pumping then goes for the bodyslam, and gets it! The big man is down on the mat for the first time in the match. EH, now going crazy, sprints around the ring, pumping his fist to the crowd, also going crazy. EH then climbs up to the top rope, and appears to be going for a big splash. He turns to the crowd, and starts pumping his fist again. However, while his back was turned, Dred gets up, and walks over the the corner where EH is. When EH turns around to face the ring, Dred punches him in the groin, causing EH to collapse in a position where he is straddling the top turnbuckle. Dred then limbs up on the second turnbuckle, hooks EH's arm over his head, and gives him the Dredded Death Drop, a top rope brainbuster. Dred then covers the now unconscious EH, and the ref counts 1.. 2.. 3.., to the delight of Air Jackson. Dred and Jackson leave the ring.
WINNER: Anson Dred via Dredded Death Drop
Skullman vs. Puff Daddy
Skullman came out ready to fight but no Puff Daddy emerged. Skullman was furious and demanded a combatant just for practice. Finess came out of the back and Skullman pummeled him the second he got in the ring. Finess was powerbombed 3 times by Skullman! Skullman hit a DDT on Finess and followed up with a whip and back body drop. Skullman picked up Finess and put him up on the top turnbuckle. Skullman climbed up there his own self and delivered a devastating Skullcrusher, his top rope brainbuster. He covered with one foot for the 1-2-3. That was pathetic.
WINNER: Skullman via Skullcrusher on Finess
Dangerous vs Texas Assassin
Dangerous comes out to the ring all by himself. He is dressed in all black and is looking dead serious. Meanwhile Assaassin comes out and starts high fivin the fans of SEWF. The two hook up and Dangerous showing some power throws Assassin into the ropes. Assassin shoots off and Dangerous clotheslines him. Hard. Dangerous picks up Assassin by the hair and short arm clotheslines him. Assassin rolls to the outside but Dangerous follows with a plancha from the top. Both men are down but Dangerous up first. Dangerous picks up Assassin and rams him into the guardrail and then into the steel pillar. Assassin is down. Dangerous thinks about leavin Assassin to be counted out but doesn't. He throws him back in the ring. Dangerous going up top now and is going for the froggy splash but Assassin moves and Dangerous misses. Assassin, sensing this is his one shot, hooks on the cloverleaf and Dangerous can do nothing but submit.
WINNER: Texas Assassin via Texas Cloverleaf
Spiderman vs. Dynamite DDS
Here we go fans, Spiderman and Dynamite going at it. And Spider man starts by throwing DDS into the ropes and gives him a flying Bulldog. He goes for the cover but DDS throws him off. Now they lock up and DDs throws him into the ropes and smashes Spidermans face with the heel of his boot. Now DDS stomps on his face. And he picks him up by the hair and slams him, goes for the elbow but misses when Spiderman moves. He picks up DDS and throws him chest first into the turnbuckle and the climbs to the top rope, landing a flying drop kick. Now he goes for the cover but DDS kicks out amazingly enough. Now Spiderman throws himinto the ropes and does a flying Shoulderblock, goes for the cover but DDs kicks out again. Now it's DDS's turn they lock up, and it looks like yes, he goes with a knee to the face. Spyder is busted open. Now DDS picks him up and piledrives him, And YES! He hits the Dynamite DDT. It's all over, easy 1,2,3. And DDS wins.
WINNER: Dynamite DDS via Dynamite DDT
Stylin' Steve Chen: Looks like Anson, Skullman, TA, and Dynamite are feeling pretty good right now with their first round wins. The second round will be broadcast live from the Shawplex next Sat. Probably the most anticipated match up is that of Destroyer and Caladan. That should be one great match. We have a newcomer here in the SEWF in Spyder. Let's take a look.
DEBUT MATCH
-----------------------
Spyder vs. Primetime
Well, ladies and gentlemen, here comes the newest member of the SEWF, Spyder, in his debut match against Primetime, and it looks like Spyder is all business. Here comes Primetime. He gets in the ring and Spyder offers him a handshake, Primetime actually accepts. They start with the lock up, Spyder sweeps his legs and lands on him with an elbow. He picks him up and throws him across the ring, and does a back body drop. Spyder picks him up again, and once again throws him to the rope. And this time it's an arm drag takedown. And Spyder walks over to primetime and gets a rake in the face, and now a clothesline. Primetime does a quick legdrop, ansd tries to go for the cover, but Spyder kicks out. And now Spyder is back on his feet and Just glaring at Primetime, Primetime spits on him, and Spyder nails him. One punch and Primetime is down. It looks like Spyder is getting ready for his closer, the Soyder's bite. That is a face first jacknife. And he picks him up an BAM! Easy cover, 123. And Spyder's stands up and spits on Primetime, and he slaps the man in the face, and now he's gone.
WINNER: Spyder via Spyder Bite
Stylin' Steve Chen: That was a pretty impressive debut for the up and coming Sypder. Looks like great things will be coming from that man. Anyway, we have a respect match, if you will, up next with Skullman and the Rebel. To the ring we go.
SINGLES ACTION
----------------------------
Skullman vs Rebel Rick Stone
Rebel Rick comes down to the ring first dressed in his usual ring attair. He has a very stern look on his face as the packed crowd is waiting for Skullman to enter the ring and the match to begin. The lights go out and they come back on with Skullman staring down Rebel Rick and Rick staring right back. The bell rings and these two combants start throwing punches; lefts and rights. Rick wins the fisticuffs and starts to use his technical prowness on the skullman. Rick throws Skull over with a hip toss and then begins stomps on all parts of the body. He picks up Skullman and bodyslams him. Rick is sensing victory and starts to prepare Skullman for his finisher. Rick throws Skull into the turnbuckle, goes for a splash and misses as Skullman moves out of the way. Skullman rakes the eyes and gives a quick kick into the ribs. He does a underhook DDT and pins but gets only a two count. Rebel Rick thens goes downstairs. He thens does a inverted atomic drop ane a neckbreaker. Rebel Rick is really showing us the moves. He picks up Skullman and carries him to the top turnbuckle. He sets him up for a suplex but Skullman blocks it and hits the skullcrusher for the 1..2...3
WINNER: Skullman via Skullcrusher
Stylin' Steve Chen: 2 wins in one night for the Skullman, impressive. Here comes two big talkers here in the SEWF, let's see who can live up to the billing. TRO might just be the most hunted man in the SEWF. Back to the ring.
NO DQ FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH
--------------------------------------------------------------
Cory "The Rock" Klippel vs. The Ravishing One
This one was all over the place and fit the Rock like a glove. The Rock came to the ring ready to go and TRO strutted his way down the aisle but CK didn't let him finish the walk. CK came up to TRO and slapped him. TRO retaliated with an attmpted slap, but CK blocked it and used a leg trip to drive TRO on to the concrete. The bell rang and the match officially began. CK picked up TRO and flung him on the steel guard rail. CK took the guardrail and fit TRO's foot into on the of the slots. The guardrail was laid on top of TRO and CK stomped on it repeatedly, injuring the ankle of TRO. CK pulled up TRO and went to grab a chair. TRO tried to hobble away but CK came at him with a running chair shot. While TRO was on the ground, CK hit him repeatedly until TRO finally started to dodge the chair shots. CK got tripped up by TRO who grabbed the chair and began to wail on CK. The chair was pretty much mutliated at this point, so TRO went to go get another. He came back with a wood chair and shattered it over the head on CK. CK didn't budge and he grabbed one of the pieces of shattered wood and gouged it into the eye of TRO. TRO was hobbling and he couldn't see now, so he was an easy target for CK. CK lifted him to his feet and DDT'd him onto the mutilated metal chair not once, not twice, but 3 times. TRO was bleeding profusely from the forehead and was just about out. CK picked up a sharp wood fragment and proceeded to open the cut on TRO even further. TRO was kinda gushing it by now and CK dragged him into the ring. CK put him up on the top rope, laid a brand new chair in the center of the ring, and proceeded to go up top. After a little top rope footwork, CK came off with a nasty superplex of TRO right on to the metal chair. TRO was gone, but CK wasn't done yet. It looked like he wanted to take advantage of the falls count anywhere part of the match. After face first suplexing TRO on to the outside. He threw the metal chair on top of TRO. CK climbed the top rope and come off with a simple, but devastating stomp TRO driving the chair into his stomach. CK made the one handed cover right there on the concrete floor for the 1-2-3.
WINNER: Cory "The Rock" Klippel via chair stomp, superplex, and everything else
Stylin' Steve Chen: That was a wild one folks. I think TRO will be feeling that one for quite awhile. The main event is coming up and we have to get the barbed wire ready. While we're waiting, let's go down to our own Matt Hammer. Take it away Matt.
Matt Hammer: I've been looking around for that resident artist we seem to have around here, Hawkeye RAV, but I haven't be able to spot him yet. I think that might be him back there, let's see if we can get a word. Hawkeye, what's with the spraypaint?
Hawkeye: Let's just say I'm stalking my prey. I like to leave my mark.
Matt Hammer: Some people around here aren't too thrilled about you and your yellow spray, what do you have to say to them?
Hawkeye: Not a whole lot, really. I'm ready for a fight, bring it.
Matt Hammer: Anything more?
Hawkeye: No
Matt Hammer: Quite a talkative guy, it looks like the barbed wire is set up, let's get back to action. Wait a minute, here comes Destroyer to the ring and he has a microphone.
Destroyer: Moore, get your a$$ out here. If you think I'm going to wait, your nuts. Come the fu*k out now!!!!
Caladan comes out with his own mic
Caladan: Destroyer, patience is a virtue. Be patient. You will have your chance come the Mothership.
Destroyer: Caladan, maybe I didn't make my self clear. Let's give the fans a preview of Mothership. Get in the ring.
Caladan gets up on the ring apron and lifts the ropes. Destroyer lets him in the ring. They surprisingly shake hands and circle each other. They walk up to each other and stare each other down. Caladan throws the first punch and it hits Destroyer. Destroyer counters with a trip up and starts to pound Caladan. Soon, the eliminators and New horsemen come out and pull each other away. It takes 4 security guards and the eliminators and New Horsemen to pull the wrestler's away.
Matt Hammer: I think that adds even more anticipation to next week's big matchup between those two men. Now, let's finally get the ring for the MAIN EVENT!!!!
