LAST OF THE FIRST ROUND QUALIFYING MATCHES
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Dangerous vs Fury

Dangerous and Fury was a one sided match with Fury taking over in the early moments of this match and pretty much keeping it there. Fury used a series of punches and kicks to set up a piledriver. With that in mind, Fury thinking that the match was a move or two away from being over went up to the top rope. Dangerous saw this and got up quickly and jiggled the ropes causing Fury to fall and hit his groin hard. With that Dangerous hit a Top Rope powerbomb. He went for the pin but Fury kicked out. Dangerous proceeded to throw him into the ropes and hit him with a double arm DDT for the 1...2...3
WINNER: Dangerous via Double Arm DDT

Hardcore Tommy Norris vs Texas Assassin

Norris lived up to his nickname for his entrance was hardcore. Led by a group of pore stars, Norris looked psyche for this match. The Assassin came out by himself and looked Norris straight in the eye. In the beginning the Assassin looked like he would win by using his technical knowledge to control Norris. A man was walking down the entryway and it was indeed Bishop. He had a chair in his hand. He set it down, took out a pad of paper and started to take notes. The match continued. Norris got up from a sleeper and hit him down low. He quickly clotheslined him out of the ring and took over. He hit him with a chair to the back and a belly to belly suplex onto the floor. Norris threw him back him looking for a belly to back suplex, but Assassin blocked it, hit the Russian Leg Sweep and lock on the Cloverleaf. Norris gave it up a minute later. Bishop left silently.
WINNER: Texas Assassin via Texas Cloverleaf

Spiderman vs. Styxs

Spiderman came out with a nice looking valet and that familiar Spiderman attire. He springboarded into the ring and looked ready to go. Styxs' music played and there was no Styxs. The camera went to the back and Styxs was writhing on the ground in pain. Spray painted in yellow spray paint on Styxs' back were the letters RAV. We'll keep you posted.
WINNER: Spiderman via forfeit

Ezekiel Rage vs. Merciless Marc Cox

This match was cancelled due to the fact that neither man has heard of at all last week and therefore doesn't deserve to be in the tourney. Because of this, the next match between Dynamite and Primetime will then be a qualifying match.
WINNER: None, match cancelled

SINGLES ACTION
-------------------------
Dynamite DDS vs. Primetime

Dynamite came out ready to fight accompanied by his fellow New Horsemen. Primetime came out to his music and made the sign of the Triple Threat. He was accompanied to the ring by his fellow Triple Threat members. The two groups had a stare down and Dave and Primetime got underway. Primetime and Dave locked up and Primetime gave Dave a big knee for the advantage. A hammerlock by Primetime was countered with a hammerlock by Dave. Dave pulled out Primetime's arm and yanked it hard twice. There was activity in the entryway and none other than the Dark Horse emerged with his lovely manager Christina. Caladan took a seat outside the ring and took out a pad and paper. He proceeded to take notes and the action continued. Dave elevated Primetime with a fireman's carry takedown and made the quick cover for only a 1 count. Dave continued the offense and put a leg hold on Primetime. Primetime reversed it into a Regal stretch type maneuver. Dave refused to submit and Primetime let go. Primetime pulled Dave to his feet by the hair and whipped him into the ropes. Dave hit the ropes and ducked a clothesline by Primetime to come back with a drop kick of his own. Dave kicked the fallen Primetime repeatedly and did a standing leg drop across the face of Primetime. Dave made another cover for a 2 count this time. Dave set Primetime's leg up on the rope and stomped on it repeatedly. He put Primetime's leg between his two legs and jumped down on it hard. Primetime grabbed his leg but Dave spread the legs and dropped a leg in between. Primetime scrambled for the ropes and Dave had to back off. Primetime came back with a punch to Dave's gut that fazed Dave enough for Primetime to get in a neckbreaker. Dave was dazed on the mat and Primetime made a cover for a 2 count. Primetime got up and went up top. Dave hopped up and punched Primetime on the top rope. Primetime lost his balance and fell onto the top turnbuckle. Dave climbed the ropes and stood Primetime up. Dave hitched Primetime and came off with a huge superplex! The two men stayed down and the ref, Steve Chen, began the 10 count. Dave was pulling himself up with the ropes while Primetime was crawling slowly toward the opposite ropes. Dave was up first at about the 7 count and hit the kneeling Primetime with a dropkick to the head. Primetime fell out of the ring and onto the concrete. Dave saw his opportunity and hit a huge slingshot leg drop onto Primetime on the ground below! Primetime was totally knocked out and Dave rolled him back in. Dave struggled to bring Primetime to his feet and delivered the big Dynamite DDT for the 1-2-3. The Triple Threat got into the ring but Dave rolled out to avoid a conflict and left with his fellow New Horsemen. Caladan watched the New Horsemen procession walk by and departed on his own a few moments after.
WINNER: Dynamite DDS via Dynamite DDT

GRUDGE MATCH
-------------------------
Destroyer vs. Flashman

Destroyer came out accompanied by the his fellow New Horsemen to a mix of boos and cheers. Dynamite Dave led the way with Shining Scorpion, Stinger, and Biggs. Flashman's music played but no Flashman came out. The cameras went to the back to look for him, but he was nowhere to be found. So much for a 30 day notice.
WINNER: Destroyer via forfeit

TAG MATCH
------------------
Shining Stinger/Shining Stinger vs. Kez/???

The Stingers came out with their fellow New Horsemen to await the arrival of Kez and his mystery partner. Kez came out accompanied with none other than Helmlock. The two entered the ring and, once separated, the match began with Kez on Stinger. Again, Bishop was seen strolling down the aisle with chair in hand. He again set it down, took out the same notepad as before, and began to take notes. Stinger took the advantage with a whip into the ropes and a drop toe hold. He followed up with a crossface and a grind on the ropes. He choked Kez with the ropes and let go promptly at the 4 count. He left Kez on the ropes and bounced off the opposite ropes to jump on top of Kez and drive his neck into the ropes. Stinger bounced off again, but Kez moved out of the way and Stinger slid right through the ropes. Kez kept to the inside to catch his breath and Dave helped Stinger up and back into the ring. Kez tagged in Helmlock who met Stinger with a boot to the head upon his entrance. He whipped Stinger into the ropes an caught him with a big boot to the face. A quick cover for only a 2 count and Helmlock pulled Stinger back to his feet. Stinger than hit Helmlock with a low blow and went to his own corner to tag in Scorpion. Scorpion came in and went buck wild with clotheslines everywhere on both Kez and Helmlock. Kez and Helmlock were both down and fell victim to consecutive elbow drops by Scorpion. Scorpion went up top and it a double flying elbow drop on both men but only got a 2 on Helmlock who put his foot into the ropes. Kez slid out and Helmlock was picked up by Scorpion for a whip into the opposite corner. Scorpion held him there and tagged in Stinger who gave Helmlock a kick to the midsection. Stinger worked over Helmlock with kicks and open hand blows to the midsection and ended it with a wind up punch that sent Helmlock to the mat. Helmlock tried to crawl over to Kez to make a tag, but Stinger pulled him back and tagged in Scorpion. Scorpion quickly threw Helmlock into the ropes and caught him with a fist to the gut. Scorpion elevated Helmlock with a big inverted atomic drop followed by another. He put Helmlock's head between his knees and delivered a devastating sit down powerbomb. The ref counted 1...2... kick out by Helmlock. Scorpion looked frustrated and he dragged Helmlock back into his corner where he tagged Stinger. Stinger went to work with various submission moves. Stinger locked on an arm bar and Helmlock was able to get into the ropes. Stinger threw Helmlock into the ropes, Helmlock ducked a clothesline, hit the ropes and came back with a flying forearm. Both men were down and Dave was pounding the mat for Stinger to make a tag and Kez was pounding the turnbuckle, eager to get in. Helmlock began to slowly crawl toward his corner as the ref started the 10 count. Helmlock tried desperately to help himself up with the ropes as Stinger slowly crawled towards Scorpion. Stinger made the tag and in hopped Scorpion, but Helmlock made the tag and Kez met Scorpion with some blows to the head followed by back hand hops. Stinger was leveled by Kez on the apron as Scorpion was down and Stinger than got in the ring. Kez double clotheslined both men and yelled for the crowd. They were into it and Kez continued the beat with some more kicks on the two. Scorpion was the legal man so Kez dragged him over to the middle of the ring and locked on a figure 4! Stinger tried to make the save, but Helmlock had regained his senses and cut off Stinger at the pass. Scorpion tapped out for the submission win to Kez. The New Horsemen attended to their men while Kez and Helmlock left. Bishop left as well.
WINNERS: Kez/Helmlock via Figure 4 Leg Lock

Caladan and the Eliminators came out to an explosion of cheers by the crowd the packed Shawplex crowd of 98,029. The two groups were separated into their respective corners and the bell rang to begin the match. Kronus hopped in to face off against Styme. Styme took it to Kronus fast with a drop kick, but Kronus pushed the feet away and Styme hit hard on the mat. Kronus picked up Styme, threw him into the ropes, and hit him with a running lariat. Kronus applied a half crab on Styme, but he was to close to the ropes and had to break the hold. Styme ran to his corner and tagged in Glory. Kronus met the fresh man with a kick to the head. Kronus followed with successive European uppercuts and threw Glory into the opposite corner to follow him in with a vicious clothesline. Kronus threw him cross ring again, but Glory raised the leg to stop Kronus in his tracks. Glory pounced on Kronus and put on an arm bar. Kronus would not let his shoulders touch the match and Glory pulled Kronus into his corner to tag in Power. Power used his power to muscle Kronus to the mat and applied a head scissors. Kronus wiggled to the ropes and Power had to break the hold. Kronus quickly went to his own corner and tagged in the Dark Horse. Caladan hit Power with a running savat kick and covered, but Styme made the save. This brought Saturn, but the ref held Saturn back. As the ref had his back turned, Styme stayed in to make a double team on Caladan. The ref finally got Saturn out of the ring and turned to get Styme out as well. Caladan was down and Power gave him a knee to the head off the ropes. Power picked up Caladan and hitched him for a nice vertical suplex. Power tagged in Glory and Glory started to beat Caladan with back hand chops on the ropes. Caladan reversed it and gave Glory some backhands of his own. Both men had red chests and Caladan whipped Glory into the ropes. A drop toe hold close to the ropes put Glory's neck straight down on the middle rope. Caladan raked Glory's face on the rope and broke at the 5 count. Caladan went out on to the apron and yanked down on Glory's head as he jumped off the apron. Glory was winded and couldn't get up to make a tag, but Caladan tagged in Kronus. Kronus came to work and put Glory in the center of the ring with a scoop slam. He clotheslined Styme and Power off of the ring apron and they both hit hard on the floor. Kronus tagged Saturn and they motioned for the total elimination. The devastating move was right on target and Kronus made the easy pin for the win. The nWo got back in the ring, but Caladan and the Eliminators were long gone.
