SINGLES ACTION
--------------
Helmut vs. Hollywood Phil
Hollywood Phil come out well in his first match in the SEWF. He and
Helmut traded blows throughout the match and the momentum swayed back
and forth between the two combatants. Helmut just didn't have enough
gas to keep up with Hollywood and eventually fell subject to a great
swinging neck breaker followed by a top rope leg drop for the pin at
14:23. The two men stared at each other and Helmut departed.
WINNER: Hollywood Phil via top rope leg drop at 14:23
Franchise Bobby Rollins vs. Mr. Me
This one was not in doubt, Franchise had it wrapped up from the
beginning bell. Mr. Me looked a little inexperienced and couldn't
keep up with Franchise, the seasoned veteran. Franchise mopped up the
mat with Mr. Me, simply setting up for his finisher the entire time.
Franchise kept the intensity up for a long time and Mr. Me looked
almost unconscious. Franchise taunted Mr. Me for awhile and took his
time setting Mr. Me up for the Megabomb. Franchise connected and
devastated Mr. Me, but wasn't finished. He added another Megabomb for
good measure at 23:21 and got the 1-2-3.
WINNER: Franchise Bobby Rollins via Megabomb at 23:21
TAG ACTION
-----------
Ultimate Giant and Confederate vs. Ultimate Warrior and Undertaker
This was a hard fought match with much hatred between the two tag
teams. The Undertaker and Confederate both had very impressive debuts.
They both looked well-conditioned and well schooled in the ways of
the ring. UW and UG battled for a long time and both did not want to
make tags, but did so. "The Extreme Warrior" J.P. Blood came to
ringside with his trash can and just watched. In the ring, UT and
Confederate then traded blows until UT hit a combo of punches and
staggered the Confederate. He held Confederate down and tagged in UW
who performed an elbow drop from the top. UW then tagged UT again
back in and ran at UG in the opposite corner (sorry for all the
abbreviations), meanwhile Undertaker got Confederate in position for
the Tombstone and executed it to perfection for the 3 count at 25:47.
Blood left without complication.
WINNERS: Ultimate Warrior and Undertaker via Tombstone by UT at
25:47
8 MAN TAG
---------
4 Horsemen vs. Fatal Alliance
J.J. Dillon accompanied the 4 Horsemen to the ring for this bout. The
crowd gave a great pop for the 4 men and their signals of 4 fingers.
The Fatal Alliance made its way slowly to the ring, still hurting
some from the beating they took from the DOD. Flair started for the 4
Horsemen and totally controlled Homicide. Homicide finally made the
desperation rake to the eyes and tagged in Suicide. Flair didn't like
the rake much and gave Suicide an arm to the groin to show his
displeasure. Flair clotheslined all 3 members of the Fatal Alliance
on the outside and put Suicide in the Figure 4, but they were too
close to the ropes and Flair had to break the hold. Flair tagged in
Arn who wasted no time in using the DDT on Suicide, he then proceeded
to DDT all members of the Fatal Alliance that ran in. This brought
out the rest of the Horsemen and a brawl was under way. After some
traded punches, Luger had Mutiny in the Rack, Flair had Homicide in
the Figure Four, Arn Anderson DDT'd Suicide, and Sting had the
Scoprion Death Lock on Brutality. Suicide, who was supposed to be the
legal man was pinned by Arn at 31:38 after repeated DDT's.
WINNERS: 4 Horsemen via repeated DDT's by Anderson at 31:38
MAIN EVENT TAG TITLE DEFENSE
----------------------------
The Eliminators vs. The Fighting Pollocks (Not Phenomenon because it
wasn't fair to Fighting Pollocks)
The Fighting Pollocks were walking down the aisle when The
Eliminators and The Extreme Warrior attacked them from behind with
trash cans. They rolled both Pollocks into the ring to start the
match and executed the Total Elimination on both. Kronus pinned
Warsaw at 10:10 for a quick and easy title defense.
WINNERS: The Eliminators via Total Elimination at 10:10
