Trish started to train at her brother Brad's gym in Birmingham to stay fit for her job as a policewoman. She entered a bar boxing contest on a dare and earned her moniker "Trish the Trasher" by obliterating three straight opponents with her size and punching power. Her growing reputation as a knockout boxer made her police job easier as nobody who knew about her wanted to tangle with her. Trish hoped to improve her skills by fighting as an amateur and getting on the British women's team for the Olympics but she couldn't find enough opponents her size.

She decided to turn pro and her goal is to win a pro title as soon as possible.

Her brother Brad says "She's tougher than most blokes. She'll go to the top and be a brilliant champion. You don't want to mess with her, she'll knock your teeth out!'
