Anika Hu's father is Japanese and her mother is Dutch and both were trained to high levels in martial arts and kickboxing. Anika grew up in San Francisco where she excelled in karate, kickboxing, Muay Thai boxing and finally conventional boxing where she won several Golden Gloves competitions. Anika looks forward to fighting professionally in the WEBA where she has promised her parents she will soon be a champion.
