Grudge Matches!

Some WEBA boxers just can't stand each other, and are looking for more than our usual showdown in the ring! Boxers with scores to settle and the toughness to "fight to the finish" can go to the Fighting Tigers Club in Pattaya, Thailand to put 'em up ... or be shut up.

These fights are not for the faint-hearted. They go on until one boxer is knocked out or unable to continue. There are no judges. Fouls aren't called. Fights aren't stopped for cuts or broken noses ... only if one boxer can't see well enough to battle on.

Action at the Fighting Tigers leaves no doubt about the winner, as the loser is usually carried out of the ring.

There is no regular schedule for these cards. The Fighting Tigers club is open for grudge matches whenever there are enough (at least four) matched challenges.

Rules for the Fighting Tigers Club

  • Both fighters must agree to the fight.
  • Both fighters must explain the grudge on the Grudge Match Challenge Board.
  • There is no penalty for refusing to fight a grudge match. These nouts are an optional "extra" for WEBA players who want tougher-than-usual fights with clear decisions.
  • Fighting Tigers Club champion Transam Lottaporn, who fights so rough that she is forbidden to compete in the WEBA, is always looking for opponents in the Club!
  • Boxers may fight in the Fighting Tigers Club while ineligible to fight in the WEBA, i.e. while on medical layoff or in training.
  • If a boxer is kayoed or injured at the Fighting Tigers Club, she must sit out the next regular WEBA card.
  • There are no weight restrictions.
  • The fights will count in the WEBA standings and pay regular WEBA prize money, so that earnings from them can be used for training. Prize money for defeating Transam Lottaporn is same as for a WEBA title!
