Owner: Dave Little

The Omaha Assassins were one of the original 10 teams in the Green Diamonds League. Owner Dave Little has found some success in the twelve years of the league taking the league title in 1999. Since that title, the Assassins have been hovering around .500 each season. The Assassins have yet to bring home any new hardware since the championship season. It seems like they lose fizzle in the 2nd half of the season and end up in the middle of the pack. In 2008 the Assassins won a 1 game playoff against the Gamblers to get into the Championship Series only to fall short of a title as they lost to the Balfors in the Omaha Taxi Cab Series. In 2008 the Assassins became the first GDL franchise to record 1000 wins.
