Hello Everyone. Just wanted to ad this page in so at least people can know a little more about me.
1/14/99 I live in a small town in New York poplulation around 1500. I go to school at the State University of New York at New Paltz and am currently studying Physics. I like to do so many diffrent things I couldn't possibly list them all. Most of the important activites you can figure out from the rest of my page. But on another level, I'll tell you a bit about myself. I value my friends. My TRUE friends. Not the ones who say they are your friends then abandon you, I'm talking about true friends- worth their weight in gold. They're hard to come by these days and I truly treasure them. I value a good conversation. I can talk for hours on end, about nothing sometimes. Sometimes I talk to people just to talk. I like intellectual stimulation. A good debate is something I look forward to, or even try to initiate. I can't live without music. All kinds of music, whatever fits the mood. On my artistic side I humm songs in my head, or construct poetry that I can never remember long enough to write down. Along with my artistic side is my humorous side. Some say every bone in my body is a funny bone- actually I just made that up. I can make some people laugh by just looking at them in a certain way. I really enjoy it when people around me are having a good time (and I am too of course). I realized a few years ago that no matter what you think, people have feelings. If you don't think you're hurting them, think again. Put yourself in their shoes. I really thought about all the stupid things I did and said about people when I was young and ignorant and if anyone who is reading this is one of them- I appologize. To conclude here, I just want to say that be good to each other. We all inhabit this little blue ball in space called Earth and we must all learn to all coexist together making our diffrences and diversities qualities that we can all benefit from. Thanks for visiting me. Please come again soon.

1/16/00 Well, by some chance I seem to have waited a whole year to update you more. Sorry about that. So since last year I hav e added Geology to my list of majors and Math as a minor. Looks like I'm in school until Fall 2001. No matter. I'm having fun climbing in the Gunks and doing some mild traveling around the North East lately. Going out west in the Summer for 3 weeks. I'll keep you updated. Got a new car, or should I say ednless hole to throw my money. But it's all good because it's my ride for my trip out west. Still looking for a girlfriend, so give me some help here people! Check out the pics page and the climbing page for more pictures comming real soon. I'll get back to you later with more.

2/20/00 I went Ice climbing for my first time on Febuary 11th. What a great time! The weather sucked, the ice was a bit crumbly, and the routes were short, but it was well worth the trip. I plan to do more while the winter is here and it's too wet and cold to rock climb. When I get the pictures developed, I'll post them up. More to come... -bt

6/20/00 Got back from my cross country trip a few days ago. What a great experience it was. I recommend to every young person out there to do a cross country trip if you can before you get a major career. It will make you grow in so many ways. I have now seen so many wonderful things- the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Yosemite and just so much more that I could go on for an hour. But when I went to these places, I didn't just see them, I lived them. I hiked the Grand Canyon from top to bottom in a day, I hiked the narrows of Zion up the Virgin river, I climbed Half Dome and hiked down it. This is what makes going to these places so special. Not just the sights and sounds, but a sensory overload of all of your senses. I think I wore out the word 'wow' when I was out there. Money can't buy the experiences you get from doing these things. It's not too late now to buy your Golden Eagle Pass and see the parks out there. If you don't have the time now, do it later. But do it. It is a truly amazing thing that becomes part of you and is something you can proudly tell people about. I hope you enjoy the pictures I put up for you. They are but a small sample of what splendor I absorbed while on my excursion. Happy trails!

10/1/00 Well, I'm on my way to becomming a 5.10 leader. I did my first 5.10 lead (Criss Cross Direct, 5.10a) A week ago. I feel a bit diffrent, I must admit. It feels great! I also did my most difficult climb of all last week- The sting (5.11d). I finally feel like I have accomplished something in climbing between these two things. I want to have done at least five 5.10 leads by the end of the year. I haven't felt more confident about my self, and I can only see a positive outlook from here on out. Things are really starting to fall into place now, I can feel it. I am so glad my patients have paid off. Oh, by the way, I finaly got those ice climbing pics up! Better late than never right!

01/13/01 I recently aquired a digital camera, so i will be putting on some pictures of some of my outings on here. Also, I have plans of putting pictures of my west trip 2001 on a seperate site (to be named later) as they happen from day to day. So far this year I have done some snowshoeing, x-country skiing and snowboarding and I recently began yoga- which I might add is a great way to stay in shape over the cold months. Trying to fit it all in before school starts up again on the 22nd, then it's back to business. Keep an eye out for the new pics soon!

03/26/01 Hello there. I'm a bit late in the new info this time- big change huh. Anyway, Here's what's new: Funny thing- I went ice climbing again. My second time ice climbing and it was exactly 1 year from the first time- February 11th. It was a lot harder than last time becasue we were doing some grade 4 ice. A true challenge I must admit. I can forsee future ice climbing excursions in the following years to come. I posted some more ice climbing pictures on the following website: http://www.engr.newpaltz.edu/~titone56/pics/ I am no longer a Physics major. I settled for the minor. I just got bored with it really. I never really liked it enough to begin with.Geology is my main focus now. I will be living in Providence, RI this summer. Yea, big change for me comming soon. I am doing a research assistantship at Brown University doing some experimental rock deformation studies. Really interesting stuff. I'll contiune to update things from there as things progress. I guess all of my rock climbing projects in the Gunks will have to wait for now. I do hope to get out to Lincoln Woods to boulder whenever I can. Keep a smile on your faces and never stop doing what you love to do.
