Welcome to the Official Umpire Homepage of the Internet

Welcome to the Official Umpire Homepage on the Internet. I guess I can call it official because this will be the only Homepage dedicated to the PROFESSION of umpiring. Don't let that word, profession, scare you. This page is designed to be able to help all levels of umpires, and umpires with all levels of experience. With your help I would love to make this the one-stop Internet resource for all umpires.

First Article of the New Year!

Check out the OUH Article page for the first article of 1997. I will be trying to update these articles on a bi-monthly basis(at least during baseball season), and depending on the input that I can get from you maybe weekly. I should be able to have an archives section that will allow you to go back and check out previous articles.

Why is this the Official Umpire Homepage of the Internet?

This is the Official Umpire Hompage because as far as I know, this is the only homepage dedicated to solely umpiring. There are other officiating homepages that talk about umpiring, but don't deal with umpiring specifically. Don't get me wrong, there are some great pages that talk about umpiring on the net(I will try to include them in my links!), but I want to keep the focus of this page only on umpiring. And if that doesn't convince you, this is the only umpiring homepage from Colorado, so that's why it's the official one!

What else is going to be contained in these pages?

Check the other pages of the OUH, like the positioning and mechanics pages for new tips on becoming a better umpire. Please send many any questions you would like to ask the rest of the world about umpiring and we will post them here, and see what call other umpires would have made.

Sign My Guestbook

If you dropped by, please take a second and sign my guestbook so I can keep you up to date on all the changes here at the OUH. If you have any suggestions for the OUH, let me know. Or if you just stopped by to check out what is going on here, drop me a line and say "Hi!". And please let me know if any of the links contained in these pages aren't current, or if you would like me to add your page to my list of links.

Navigating the OUH

There will be a table across the bottom of each of the pages. Check out the bar across the bottom of your browser, and it will tell you exactly where each link will take you.
