CAPRIATI WITHDRAWS
While Graf will play at Villanova, Jennifer Capriati will not. Citing an elbow injury, Capriati withdrew yesterday.

During the recent Chicago tournament, Capriati, 20, served notice that she might be regaining the form that made her a U.S. Open and Wimbledon semifinalist at age 15. Capriati upset Monica Seles, then co-ranked No. 1 with Graf, in the semifinals before losing to Jana Novotna in the finals. Novotna is the No. 3 Advanta seed.

Replacing Capriati in the draw is Indonesia's Yayuk Basuki. She will face Anna Kournikova.
