Byron's arrival in the ranks of the IIWF was announced in advance by his valet, Lady DeWinter, who interrupted an official broadcast to begin his introduction. For the next two weeks, she continued to promote her 'new wrestler', before officially introducing him to the IIWF at the Ring Wars II pay-per-view. He quickly won himself an enemy in Marty Warnett, who began to berate Byron by speculating on his parentage. Byron continued to deny Warnett's allegations, and responded by interfering in Warnett's matches, and one of those attacks backfired, costing newcomer Harlequin Tragedy the match. The feud came to a head when Warnett demanded a submission match, during which both Tragedy and another wrestler, 'Superstar' Stud Stetson, became involved. This led to a tag team match, which neither Stetson or Byron were entirely happy about.... Byron's feud with Warnett looks set to continue apace, and Byron has recently issued a challenge to Warnett in the form of a 'Pure Science' match, with the loser having to acknowledge the winner as the superior athlete... Byron made an excellent showing at the Snow Brawl ppv, which established him as a top contender for honours. However, despite returning in excellent physical shape and looking a lot more positive, January has became Byron's least successful month, with a much publicised split-up between the Lady DeWinter and himself contributing to trouble inside the ring as well as outside. DeWinter appeared to be infatuated with Byron's one-time nemesis, Marty Warnett. Despite the split, Byron's fortunes improved somewhat, and after a brace of victories, Byron was announced as the challenger for Marty Warnett's Intercontinental Title at Ring Wars III on March 22nd. In addition, Byron was also named as the challenger to 'The Spartan' Troy Walter's ESWP European Title in the first interfederational match only a week later at ESWP'S What The World Is Watching III, March 29th. One week before Ring Wars III, and Byron looked to continue his push for Marty Warnett's title against the Native American newcomer, Nightwing... and a BIG surprise followed... Byron successfully defended his new title at Ring Wars III and immediately followed by representing the IIWF at the ESWP's What The World Is Watching III, where he clashed with 'The Spartan' in what turned out to be a match for both titles. Byron's position in was further secured by the announcement of his partnership with former IIWF World Champion, Otto 'The Butcher' Verhoeven, in what was to become known as the European Alliance. As a double title holer, Byron continued to defend the belts against the best both federations could offer, including the ESWP's 'Iceman' Dean Diamond and the IIWF's Steve Kowalski. Byron was scheduled to face the the only man who had gained a clean win over him at the IIWF's Birthday Bash, Creed, and instantly took matters into his own hands, inflicting a brutal assault on the young superstar with the assistance of Otto Verhoeven the weekend before thier crunch encounter. The assault proved decisive that night, costing Creed his shot and taking him out of action in the process. Byron recently lost the ESWP title to the Death Enterprises representative, Firestarter. Byron's title defenses in IIWF continued with a match against the three time champion Tiger Claw, during which the injured Creed again made an appearance. The feud between Byron and Creed progressed rapidly over the next few weeks, to the extent of both men being responsible for the others elimination from the World Title Tournament. The resentment between the two finally resulted in the Coronation Clash title match, and Byron's subsequent loss resulted in his departure from the IIWF. Before he left, however, he became the subject of a brutal attack by his enraged former partner, Otto 'The Butcher' Verhoeven...
