Ok, so you want to know some stuff
about me. Well, in December 1999 I graduated from The Ohio State
University. I then returned to School at Urbana University to finish my requirements for my teaching certificate. I completed my student teaching and I am actively looking for a teaching job for the 2000-2001 school year. Currently, I live at home with my parents and two younger brothers, let me
tell you after living on my own for 2 years this was an adjustment!
You may be wondering why I chose cheerleading. Well, for as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a cheerleader. I remember dressing up as a cheerleader for Halloween, so it only seemed logical to me to be a cheerleader. I was a cheerleader all through junior high and high school, and at the Pop Warner level also. During my junior and senior year I was the co-captain of my varsity squad. In my junior year we went to a UCA camp and the squad faired very well. A few girls even qualified to go to the Macy's Parade. During My senior year we attended an AmeriCheer Camp and were voted top squad at the camp and the most spirited. We also placed for nationals, but due to lack of money we did not attend. I was not a cheerleader at OSU, but I am still involved with cheerleading.
After I graduated from high school, I took a job with a small local school to be the coach the Junior High squad. This was my first coaching job, and I loved it! The next year I got a job at the high school I attended as the Junior Varsity coach, and still loved it! Currently I am not a coach either, mainly because school takes up so much time, and it is very hard to find a position. But I am still looking, so if you have any leads please let me know. Just because I am not directly involved with cheerleading does not mean I am not up to date. I still search the Internet to find interesting things, and I had so much information that I decided to let everyone else use it, and get credit for it too!
